This privacy policy provides details regarding required personal information, its acquisition, and usage, who has access to this data, and Your rights regarding information collected.

All BaadMay users are advised to read and understand Our privacy policy carefully prior to agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and accessing Our services. BaadMay is committed to safeguarding Your personal data and ensuring strict compliance with all relevant and applicable laws and regulations within the jurisdiction of Pakistan in this regard. Further, We take comprehensive measures to protect Your information and ensure complete compliance, at all times, with all relevant laws and regulations applicable in Pakistan.

1. Your Data Collected

When You create a profile for BaadMay, engage with Our products, carry out transactions, or contact customer support, personal data including Your name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, CNIC, and profile picture is acquired. Data acquired by BaadMay is used for identification and contact purposes, including any relevant usage of Our Services. Your data may be used for credit limit assessment for individual users (based on information shared by the user). Further, BaadMay may use Your data for other relevant marketing purposes, provided You expressly consent in this agreed. No data is acquired and used beyond the necessary actions required to provide Our customers with a smooth shopping experience, and within the legally required limitations.

2. Data Usage Policy

All collected user data may be transferred and stored, safely and lawfully. Protected via contractual agreements, BaadMay may share information with third parties, its affiliates or business partners that may perform any authorized Services on behalf of BaadMay. We may disclose Your personal information to any local or international law enforcement officers or competent regulatory or governmental agencies, in good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce any terms and conditions and/or this Policy, to assist in the prevention, detection, investigation or prosecution of criminal activities, terrorist financing and/or fraud.

We shall use Your data for the purposes of compiling statistics relating to Our user base or financial product or Services and may disclose such information to any third party for such purposes, provided that such information will always be anonymous and aggregated in a de-identified format that does not personally identify BaadMay’s users.

BaadMay, its website, mobile application, and other relevant domans and sub-domains, hold the safety of Your data storage with utmost regard and adhere to the highest industry standards to ensure Your privacy remains protected. In light of and in accordance with all laws and regulations applicable in Pakistan, BaadMay ensures that Your personal data is collected, processed, and stored in a secure and lawful manner. We respect your rights to access, rectify, and erase Your data upon request made by You to Us. Furthermore, You have the right to, via request, withdraw Your consent for the collection and processing of your personal information by Us.

Any and all information obtained from You shall be attained through Your express consent in sharing the data with BaadMay. Sensitive data shall only be accessible to Our authorized representatives/officers and all Your activity shall be logged and monitored solely through BaadMay’s protected internal API network. Access by any unauthorized third parties has been restricted, with the exception of any national and authorized Credit Information Bureau and Insurance agency involved in the process of debt collection.

All Your credentials, information, and (sensitive) data shall be subject to encryption both during transmission and whilst in storage. This encryption process shall adhere to robust, internationally recognized, and publicly disclosed standards concerning key length, algorithms, cipher suites, digital certificates, and relevant protocols. BaadMay shall ensure that such standards are not deprecated or shown to possess vulnerabilities or insecurity. The storage of encryption keys shall be accompanied by strong security controls and shall remain in a non-exportable format, residing within a highly secure and industry-standard key repository. By utilizing secure cloud infrastructure for data storage, BaadMay adheres to the cloud service provider agreements and upholds the best industry practices to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of Your data.

BaadMay values data privacy and protection and, hence, ensures that Your data is solely used for purposes specified in Our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, provided You give Your consent.

6. General Permissions

Requests for permission sent via BaadMay are applicable to all Our users, obtained only after the user’s consent, and are transmitted to us in a secure way.

Contacts
Purchases via the BaadMay app unlock users’ ability to invite family and friends to the Service, the feature requires users to enable access permissions for their contacts to be able to send any invites.

Location
For user safety and security, user location may be gathered by the Service to authenticate transactions made via BaadMay in order to prevent fraudulent activity being conducted on any user Account.

Please note, at any point required, additional information may be sought from the user regarding personal information or references to their employment for verification purposes. Such information will be sought with user consent and may be utilized only for the purposes of user identity verification and communication and will not be shared with any unauthorized entity.

7. Analytics

Currently, We are using Google’s Firebase Services to track user engagement, to improve their experience, and customize the BaadMay app experience. This is governed by the security and privacy policies of their respective website. You should review all websites’ privacy policies before using them so that You understand how Your information may be used. These analytics do not collect Your personal information and only help us in improving Your experience. In the future, We reserve the right to augment tools integrated with Our data analytics and management, to improve upon Our UX experience.
